Melanie Toliver is a seasoned human resource professional with more than 20 years of experience managing the people management strategy for multi-national companies. In her role as Principal and Managing Director, Melanie is responsible for managing the firms day to day resources, business communications and client interactions. Melanie oversees the HR Associate Team and is focused on crafting an engaging and inspiring workplace environment for all Hopkins team members.

Prior to joining the Hopkins Group, Melanie served in various leadership roles that include HR Director for a national insurance firm, Senior HR Leader, overseeing HR Operations for a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, as an Entrepreneur and as a HR Specialist working with various Center of Excellence teams overseeing the organization’s Total Rewards Strategy.

Melanie’s talent and industry experience includes working with various industry leaders in oil and gas, education, healthcare, engineering, airline and information technology on a range of human resource projects and initiatives that include HR strategy, workplace development, total rewards, leadership development, merger and acquisitions, HCM transformation and global human resources management.

Melanie is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and WorldatWork Organization. She has served on the Houston Compensation and Benefits Management Board and WorldatWork Advocate Council. She holds a MS degree in Human Resources Management from Houston Baptist University and is certified through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) as a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and WorldatWork as a Certified Compensation (CCP) and Global Compensation Professional (GRP).
