Laura J. Phillips has extensive generalist human resources experience, in addition to information systems, operations, and legal, both in the public and private sectors, that spans more than thirty years. As a past owner of a firm that focused on Dallas HR consulting services, Laura is well versed in the many demands facing start-ups and small companies seeking to implement effective HR strategies. Laura’s expertise includes single and multi-site strategic planning, compensation and staffing plan development, benefits plan design, training program development, mergers and acquisitions, and turn-arounds. Her industry experience includes high-tech, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, real estate, municipal government, and construction.
Laura has been an invited speaker to universities, colleges and various associations all over North America. Having a B.S. in Project Management from California Coast University, Laura is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, a member of the Dallas Human Resource Management Association, a past facilitator of a Dallas human resources group, and served on the Executive Recruiting Board for Children’s Medical Center’s Red Balloon Run & Ride annual fundraising event.
